About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in both Business and Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5, following relevant examination specifications.
• Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
• Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including case studies, simulations, economic data, and real-world examples, to bring both subjects to life.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations in both Business and Economics, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria.
• Contribute to the development of the Business and Economics curriculum and resources.
• Foster a love of both subjects in students, encouraging them to develop their analytical, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to business, economics, and current affairs.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in both Business and Economics.
• Demonstrated ability to teach both subjects across Key Stages 4 and 5.
• Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations in both subjects.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• A passion for both business and economics and a commitment to fostering critical thinking and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of current business and economic trends and issues.
