About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality Biology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, adhering to the national curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies to inspire students.
- Conduct practical experiments and investigations to enhance student understanding.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Contribute to the development of departmental resources and activities.
- Potential for a TLR for a candidate who can demonstrate leadership and a commitment to raising student achievement.
- Promote a love of biology and the natural world.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Experience in teaching practical Biology.
- A commitment to the education and empowerment of young women.
