About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Psychology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, following relevant examination specifications.
- Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including research studies, debates, and interactive activities, to enhance student learning.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Psychology examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria.
- Contribute to the development of the Psychology curriculum and resources.
- Foster a love of psychology in students, encouraging them to develop their critical thinking and research skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to psychology and research.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Psychology.
- Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Psychology examinations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and research skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- A passion for psychology and a commitment to fostering intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
