Head of Mathematics – Secondary Academy in Liverpool (January Start)

A scholarly secondary academy in Liverpool, Merseyside, is seeking an ambitious Head of Mathematics to lead its quantitative faculty on a full-time, permanent basis starting in January. Job Overview Mathematics occupies a core position within this academy’s academic strategy and Sixth Form pathways. The successful candidate will take strategic responsibility for curriculum design, numerical fluency, problem-solving frameworks, and exam performance across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE Higher/Foundation), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Mathematics & Further Maths). Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead a dedicated team of math teachers, refine schemes of work, run targeted intervention programs, and coach candidates for university STEP/MAT papers. This is a full-time, permanent contract.
