The school requires someone who can deliver focused teaching, build examination confidence and ensure pupils are well prepared for their transition to secondary education. The Role Class Leadership: Take responsibility for a Year 6 class and oversee daily teaching and learning. Core Curriculum: Deliver high-quality English and mathematics lessons alongside the wider curriculum. SATs Preparation: Support pupils with revision, assessment practice and examination confidence. Targeted Intervention: Identify learning gaps and deliver focused support to improve attainment. Transition Support: Help pupils develop the academic and personal skills needed for secondary school. The Candidate Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Has experience teaching upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6. Has a strong understanding of SATs expectations and assessment. Can motivate pupils and maintain high expectations. Is confident working with pupils, parents and colleagues.
