The Role Classroom Teaching: Take responsibility for a Year 1 class and deliver the full primary curriculum. Early Literacy: Develop phonics, reading fluency, handwriting and early writing skills. Numeracy: Build confidence in number, calculation and mathematical reasoning. Creative Learning: Use practical activities and engaging topics to support children's understanding. Assessment: Monitor progress and identify pupils who require additional support or further challenge. The Candidate Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or a strong understanding of early primary education. Can create a structured and nurturing classroom environment. Understands effective phonics teaching and early assessment. Communicates effectively with parents, carers and colleagues.
