Designated Safeguarding Lead – Southampton | January 2027

Location: Southampton Start: January 2027 Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Working pattern: Typically 08:00–16:00, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Some flexibility may be required for meetings or urgent concerns. Salary: £39,000–£46,000 per annum, depending on experience A Southampton school is seeking a committed Designated Safeguarding Lead to help maintain a safe and supportive environment for pupils. You will work closely with school staff, families and external professionals to ensure concerns are followed up appropriately. Why Join the School?
