A vibrant school in Windsor is looking for an enthusiastic Library and Literacy Coordinator to manage its library and promote reading across the school community. The library serves as a space for independent study, research and reading. The school is keen to appoint someone who can keep resources organised while encouraging pupils to explore books and develop their literacy skills. The role combines library management and pupil engagement: Managing book loans, returns and library resources. Maintaining the library catalogue and computerised records. Supporting pupils with research and resource selection. Promoting reading initiatives and literacy activities. Organising displays, themed events and reading campaigns. Maintaining a welcoming, quiet and productive study environment. Supporting staff with learning resources and reading materials. We’re looking for someone who: Has library, resource management or administrative experience. Enjoys working with children and young people. Is confident using library management systems. Has excellent organisational and communication skills. Is enthusiastic about reading and literacy. Previous school library experience would be a significant advantage.
