Position Details Role: Business Teacher Location: Shrewsbury Contract: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Teaching Levels: KS3–KS5 About the Role The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Business lessons, helping students understand how organisations operate and the factors that influence business success. You will cover topics such as marketing, finance, enterprise and business operations, using real-world examples to make learning relevant and accessible. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Business lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate. Develop students' understanding of key business concepts and commercial decision-making. Use case studies and practical examples to encourage critical thinking. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Adapt lessons to support learners with different abilities and learning needs. Maintain a positive classroom environment and high expectations for achievement. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and departmental success. The Ideal Candidate Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Has strong subject knowledge in Business Studies. Can make complex business concepts engaging and easy to understand. Demonstrates effective classroom management and communication skills. Is committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment.
