Director of Overseas Operations | Middle East (Dubai or Saudi Arabia preferred)

People Hive is supporting a client in the search for a Director of Overseas Operations - Vehicle Delivery & Route Operations Specialist to join their team, stationed overseas in the Middle East (Dubai or Saudi Arabia preferred). The successful candidate will oversee overseas vehicle delivery, coordinating cross-functional resources to meet diverse delivery requirements and ensure smooth progression through every delivery stage. The business is at an early stage overseas: no driving warehouses currently exist, so offline map data collection and testing are required, with a gradual transition to online operations expected in the future. Key Responsibilities Oversee overseas vehicle delivery by coordinating cross-functional resources to meet diverse delivery requirements and ensure smooth progression through all delivery stages Plan, survey and conduct road tests for new routes, including route planning and route data collection Monitor and control delivery progress, promptly identifying and resolving issues and bottlenecks Deliver vehicles to clients and provide client training Carry out basic hardware maintenance (primarily spare parts and exterior component replacement) Manage and oversee the operation platform and the monitoring platform Maintain effective communication with various departments before and after vehicle delivery, proactively addressing customer needs and implementing timely solutions Critical Requirements Valid driver's license and proven driving skills Bachelor's degree or above Proficient in standard office software Able to conduct daily work communications in English (reading, writing, listening and speaking) Responsible and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple parallel tasks and demonstrate project management skills Proactive, with strong cross-departmental communication and learning abilities Nice to Have Prior overseas work experience Basic knowledge of new energy vehicle maintenance Experience in vehicle delivery operations and management Location: Middle East – Dubai or Saudi Arabia preferred Working arrangement: Field-based (frequent on-road work) Employment: Full-time Languages: English Seniority: Entry to Mid-level Industry: New Energy Vehicles / Automotive Salary: CN¥550,000 – CN¥800,000 (approx.
