Well Services SSHE Specialist (Kuala Lumpur)

Job Responsibilities: Provide SSHE support and advice to Well Services teams on applicable legal, regulatory, company SSHE and operational requirements. Support SSHE activities for well intervention, workover, well servicing, completion, well testing and Plug & Abandonment (P&A) operations, covering both rig-based and rigless activities. Deliver and support Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) improvement, Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS), Safety Leadership and SSHE culture improvement initiatives at worksites. Coach personnel in the preparation and implementation of Job Management System (JMS), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements. Conduct worksite observations, inspections and coaching interventions to strengthen hazard identification, risk controls and safe work practices. Support Well Supervisors and relevant operational personnel in monitoring SSHE compliance during ongoing operations. Prepare SSHE/BBS progress and performance reports and support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide practical, on-the-job SSHE coaching and facilitate learning from operational observations and identified gaps. Requirements: Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Science, Engineering or a related discipline. At least 8 years of working experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience supporting well intervention, workover, well servicing, completion, well testing and/or Plug & Abandonment (P&A) operations. Experience supporting both rig-based and rigless well intervention operations. Good knowledge of offshore SSHE requirements, risk assessment, safe work practices and operational safety procedures. Strong communication, coaching and coordination skills.
