Brazilian Portuguese Social Media Agent – Athens

About the Role Are you fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and motivated to help make the internet a safer place? We are recruiting for an international team that supports a leading global social media platform and keeps the online experience safe and positive for millions of users. The role combines three kinds of work: reviewing user-generated content and ads against community standards, investigating user reports, and supporting users by chat, email and outbound calls. You will work on-site from a modern office in Athens. Key Responsibilities Review posts, comments, videos and ads against community standards and platform policies Investigate and act on user reports of abuse, harassment or policy violations Support users by chat, email and outbound calls with account, payment and general inquiries Identify and escalate cases not covered by existing policies, and contribute to policy updates Contribute to data gathering for machine-learning initiatives Maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency in all tasks Requirements Native or C1-level Brazilian Portuguese B2–C1 English, needed for training, the knowledge base and client policies 1–3 years of experience in BPO, customer support, tech support or content moderation Strong decision-making, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent written communication Cultural awareness of Brazil's social and political environment Typing speed of at least 30 WPM Resilience and the ability to handle sensitive content professionally What's on Offer Competitive monthly salary with structured salary progression Monthly productivity bonus based on performance Monthly food allowance for on-site attendance Dedicated well-being support, including counselling, regular check-ins and well-being activities Day shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts in some teams Full training and a multicultural, international team environment Important to Know This role may involve exposure to sensitive content.
