Dutch-speaking Customer Service Representative – Insurance

About the Role We are recruiting a Dutch-speaking Customer Service Representative to support customers and insurance brokers. You will be a first point of contact for enquiries about insurance products, policies and coverage, providing clear information by phone and email. Key Responsibilities Handle customer enquiries by phone and email. Explain insurance products, policy details and coverage. Assist customers with policy-related requests, including cancellations. Direct insurance brokers to the appropriate information or support. Manage inbound and outbound calls and follow up on customer requests. Maintain a friendly, professional and calm approach, including in challenging situations. Native-level or fluent Dutch and strong English. Customer service experience; insurance-sector experience is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional and customer-oriented approach. Ability to remain calm, organised and effective under pressure. Requirements Languages Dutch / English Salary €1,050–€1,150 gross/month (paid over 14 months; source salary: €1,100) Location & Work Arrangement On-site, Lisbon, Portugal Working Schedule Monday to Friday, including public holidays, with rotating shifts between 07:30 and 20:00; weekends off.
