Global Sales Manager Payments, Limassol

Emerald Zebra, on behalf of our client, a global payment gateway specialising in cross-border payments, is looking to hire two Global Sales Managers to be based in Limassol, Cyprus. About our client Our client provides international merchants with payment collection, payouts and settlement services, supporting local payment methods and global card payments. Their network spans Asia, Europe, Latin America and Africa, with a strong focus on emerging markets, and iGaming is one of their key sectors. They are now establishing a new entity and sales team in Limassol to grow their global merchant acquisition. The role Identify, develop and acquire new international merchants, particularly in iGaming Promote local payment methods, card payments and cross-border payment services Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, industry partners and prospective clients Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and negotiation to merchant onboarding and activation Open new business across Europe, CIS, Latin America and other international markets Work with internal teams on merchant integration and commercial issues, driving transaction volume and revenue growth Represent the business at industry events, conferences and networking activities What you will bring 3 to 8 years in B2B sales or business development Experience in payments, iGaming, fintech or a closely related B2B sector A good understanding of payment solutions and international merchant business A proven ability to win new clients independently and manage the sales process end to end Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills Fluent English Based in Cyprus or willing to relocate to Limassol Nice to have Experience with payment gateways, aggregators, acquiring or cross-border payments Existing merchant relationships or a network within iGaming Experience developing markets in Europe, CIS or Latin America Russian or Spanish A track record of merchant acquisition and revenue generation What is on offer Base salary of EUR 42,000 to 72,000 gross per year, depending on experience and track record Monthly performance-based commission with strong earning potential Full-time role, office based in Limassol from early 2027, with a remote start possible before then A founding role in a growing international business
