Forward Deployed Product Manager

About the Role Join a small, high-impact team building AI-powered technology for state and local government. This broad product and operations role partners closely with company leadership to help shape strategy, support growth, and improve how public agencies work. What You'll Do Own cross-functional initiatives that help the business operate and scale efficiently. Work with company leadership on strategic priorities and fundraising-related activities. Support operational needs and help the founding team move quickly. Introduce AI tools and workflows across the business to build a lean, AI-native organization. Contribute to technology solutions that make government more effective. What We're Looking For At least 4 years of experience in product, operations, strategy, consulting, or a related generalist role. Experience at an early-stage, venture-backed technology startup, ideally from Seed through Series B. Familiarity with AI tools and enthusiasm for AI-native workflows, including experience learning Claude Code. A bachelor's degree from a highly selective U.S. university. Interest in using technology to improve the public sector, with government experience or public-sector consulting experience valued. Experience outside large technology companies and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment. Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $130,000 to $220,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. Location On-site in New York, NY, five days per week.
