A welcoming secondary school in Darlington, County Durham, is seeking a qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) to lead the campus medical room starting ASAP or in January. Job Overview The School Nurse leads healthcare delivery across the school community, providing clinical triage, emergency first aid, mental health support, and chronic medical condition management for students and staff. Working alongside safeguarding leads, pastoral teams, and the SENCO, you will maintain confidential medical records, draft Individual Healthcare Plans (IHCPs), coordinate NHS vaccination clinics, and deliver staff medical training (EpiPen, asthma inhalers, diabetes management). This is a full-time, permanent or ongoing role.
