Java Engineer

About the Role A global professional services organization is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join its Managed Services team. The role focuses on supporting enterprise clients through technology-driven solutions, operational improvement initiatives, and delivery excellence. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of scalable applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and service quality. This position also involves mentoring junior team members, managing delivery risks, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications and solutions. Lead and support project delivery activities across multiple initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and operational requirements. Identify potential delivery risks and contribute to mitigation strategies. Support process improvement and operational optimization efforts. Participate in application deployment, testing, and release activities. Mentor and guide junior developers in technical and project-related tasks. Contribute to maintaining high standards for quality, performance, and reliability. Work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile and collaborative environment. Qualifications: Required: -Bachelor’s Degree 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Java development Strong verbal and written English communication skills Preferred Experience leading or mentoring small technical teams.
