Senior Planner

Senior Planner | Civil Infrastructure | Sydney We're recruiting an experienced Senior Planner to join an established Australian civil infrastructure contractor delivering major projects across NSW, including transport, water, renewables and defence. Indigenous Business Growth (IBG) is a majority Indigenous owned recruitment business registered with Supply Nation, specialising in civil engineering, infrastructure, construction and major project recruitment. We partner closely with contractors, engineering consultancies and delivery organisations to place high quality technical professionals. Our approach is relationship led and commercially grounded, built on practical industry experience and a clear understanding of how complex projects are delivered. Based in Sydney, you'll work closely with Project Directors, operational teams and senior planning personnel to develop and manage construction programmes across major infrastructure projects. The role will involve tender programming, developing costed and resource-loaded schedules, critical path analysis, progress reporting, delay analysis and supporting contractual claims and extensions of time. What we're looking for: Minimum 12 years' planning and scheduling experience within civil construction. Strong on-site construction experience and understanding of delivery methodologies. Demonstrated experience on major TfNSW or comparable civil infrastructure projects. Advanced Primavera P6 and MS Project capability. Experience developing complex tender programmes, baseline schedules and resource-loaded programmes. Strong understanding of critical path analysis, delay analysis and extensions of time. Experience in water or wastewater infrastructure will be highly regarded. A relevant engineering qualification is preferred but not essential.
