Gastroenterologist - Hospitalist - 7on/7off

Korzen Health is partnering with one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems in Northeast Texas to recruit an experienced GI Hospitalist to join a growing, well-established gastroenterology team. Due to continued growth in the area, this 335-bed, Level III Trauma hospital is seeking an additional physician to strengthen its inpatient GI service. Join a collaborative team of 6 full-time Gastroenterologists and 1 full-time GI Hospitalist , with robust support staff designed to help you focus on delivering excellent patient care. Schedule 7 days on / 7 days off — 182 shifts per year Flexibility to adjust the schedule around pre-planned vacations and time off Night call relief Monday–Thursday Holiday coverage rotated on a 1:7 ratio — you won't be covering every major holiday Clinical Role Provide inpatient-only GI hospitalist coverage — no outpatient duties Round on inpatients daily Manage an average of 5–10 procedures per day and approximately 8 consults per day Advanced ERCP required ; EUS preferred but not required Full GI inpatient service coverage provided by you and your care team Support Team Nurse Practitioner (NP) support during weekdays, assisting with rounding during procedures Internal Medicine Resident support during the week Additional NP support for new providers during weeknight coverage Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus bonus structure Full benefits package, including: Paid Time Off (PTO) CME allowance 403(b) retirement plan 401(k) Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage About the Facility This 335-bed, Level III Trauma hospital serves a growing community in Northeast Texas, located approximately 2 hours east of downtown Dallas.
