Household Claims Handler | Bolton (BL7) | up to £28,000 | Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm We are recruiting a household claims handler for an established, FCA-regulated general insurance business on the edge of Bolton. They are adding to their household claims team after taking on a significant new contract. What you will be doing Running your own caseload of household claims from first notification through to settlement: escape of water, storm, accidental damage, theft, buildings and contents Checking policy cover and gathering the information needed to move each claim forward Appointing and managing suppliers on behalf of the policyholder Keeping customers updated clearly and honestly throughout Spotting and referring potential fraud What you will need Household, home or property claims experience. Around 12 months is plenty, and validation, home emergency or desktop claims experience counts too. Strong insurance customer service backgrounds will also be considered. Confidence on the phone and across multiple systems GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above in English and Maths What you get Up to £28,000 depending on experience 35 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. No evenings, no weekends.
