Position: Nuclear Engineer, Fuel Cycle Type: Contract Compensation: $65–$75/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Write challenging single-turn prompts in the nuclear materials domain, labeled as benign, dual-use, and adversarial. Evaluate AI model responses against defined policy standards to ensure correct handling. Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses. Collaborate with experts to draw reliable lines between routine and potentially dangerous queries. Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model judgment in nuclear materials. Qualifications Must-Have Experience in enrichment, reprocessing, fabrication, or criticality safety. Ability to distinguish routine engineering questions from potentially dangerous ones. Strong technical writing skills with the ability to provide written rationale. Preferred Red-teaming experience in nuclear materials and safeguards. Prior technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience.
