Senior Software Engineer

About the Role Join a small product and engineering team building AI-powered software for complex contract workflows. You will own features from early design through production, helping turn customer and product needs into reliable systems. What You'll Do Architect and build core product features with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security. Develop and deploy Python-based AI agents that automate complex workflows. Build agent workflows integrating language models, APIs, databases, business systems, and external tools. Translate product requirements and customer feedback into technical designs and shipped features. Own features through deployment and ongoing operation, and contribute to engineering practices and tooling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve technical blockers. What We're Looking For At least 6 years of experience building and shipping production backend systems. Strong production experience with Python, plus TypeScript and React. Experience designing production agent systems, including orchestration, tool calling, evaluation, and failure handling. Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure, including DevOps. A track record of hands-on software engineering and delivering production systems in a high-ownership product or startup environment. Strong software engineering fundamentals and an ability to work across the product lifecycle. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $180,000 to $280,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
