High School English Language Arts Teacher - 2027-2028

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Language Arts Teacher to inspire and engage high school students in their learning journey. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote student understanding of literature, writing, and language concepts. Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Incorporate diverse literary works and media to enhance students’ cultural awareness and appreciation for different perspectives. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to a cohesive educational experience. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive learning community. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in education and English Language Arts instruction. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Valid teaching certification in English Language Arts or equivalent. Strong knowledge of current educational practices and curriculum development. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Experience working with high school students in an educational setting is preferred.
