Mobile Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Mobile Test Automation Engineer to join our partner's team and contribute to ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of mobile applications. Contract Type: B2B Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications on Android and/or iOS. Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and reusable test components. Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects, regressions, and potential issues. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure application quality throughout the development lifecycle. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster feedback. Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and report defects with clear reproduction steps. Maintain and improve the stability, reliability, and execution speed of automated test suites. Work with mobile emulators, simulators, and real devices to validate application behavior across different environments. Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, and test strategy discussions. Contribute to improving testing processes, automation coverage, and QA best practices. Requirements Proven experience in software testing, with a strong focus on mobile test automation. Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest . Good programming skills in at least one language, such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, Python, or JavaScript. Experience testing native, hybrid, and/or cross-platform mobile applications. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA processes. Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Familiarity with REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman or similar. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated test execution pipelines. Experience working with Android emulators, iOS simulators, and real mobile devices. Ability to analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and identify root causes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Nice to Have Experience with tools such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Firebase Test Lab. Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. Experience with performance, compatibility, and cross-device testing. Knowledge of mobile application architecture and the mobile release lifecycle. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
