Location: Redditch, Worcestershire Position: Health & Social Care Teacher Start Date: January 2027 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Salary/Hours: £160–£250 per day, dependent on experience | Monday–Friday Wayman Education is seeking a motivated Health & Social Care Teacher to join a secondary school in Redditch. This role is suited to a teacher who can connect vocational learning with real-world situations and help pupils develop the knowledge and skills needed for future study and employment. The Role Teach Health & Social Care across KS4 and KS5, depending on the provision offered. Deliver lessons covering health, wellbeing, human development and care practices. Support pupils with coursework, assignments and examination preparation. Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to improve outcomes. Connect theoretical learning with practical examples and careers in the care sector. The Ideal Candidate Holds QTS and has relevant Health & Social Care teaching experience. Has a strong understanding of vocational qualifications and assessment requirements. Can motivate pupils and support independent learning. Demonstrates effective planning, organisation and classroom management. Is committed to helping pupils achieve their academic and career goals.
