C/C++ Software Engineer (Real-Time Air Surveillance Sensors) for NATO with security clearance

Radar data, real time, no room for sloppy code. A multinational defence organisation in The Hague is implementing a set of engineering change proposals in its air surveillance software - the passive sensor and sensor control components - and needs an experienced C/C++ developer to deliver them. What you would be doing Implementing engineering changes in C/C++ sensor and sensor control software on Unix Applying sound engineering practice: version control in Git, testing and documentation Working through interfaces with radar and other sensors, and the network side when it gets in the way Collaborating closely with the wider engineering team What you would bring Solid experience developing software in C/C++, with Git Good understanding of software engineering best practice, testing and documentation Several years of Unix experience A strong team player A plus: real-time air domain applications (sensors, tactical data links, flight plans), radar interfaces, and network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewalls, DNS) Why this one is worth a look It is real engineering on mission software with a clear scope, where good C++ is exactly what is needed.
