Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Japanese Type: Contract Compensation: $38/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Evaluate AI training data in Japanese to ensure accuracy and quality. Conduct Multilingual Transcription Audits by listening to recordings and verifying transcriptions. Perform Forced Alignment Audits by checking and correcting word-level audio segmentation. Apply error codes consistently and provide clear rationales for audit decisions. Work independently with a focus on careful listening and attention to detail. Qualifications Must-Have Native or near-native command of Japanese as spoken in Japan. Strong English reading and writing skills. Experience with transcription , subtitling , or linguistic annotation . Ability to apply a disciplined rubric consistently. Preferred Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation experience. Background in phonetics or linguistics . Experience with audio editing or waveform tools .
