Location: Hybrid opportunity based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, offering the flexibility to balance in-office collaboration with remote work. Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Michigan and have at least 1 year of experience practicing as an attorney. Prior insurance defense or negligence defense litigation experience is preferred but not required. Job Description Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution with guidance from experienced attorneys as needed. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research, written discovery, depositions, and case preparation. Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and court proceedings. Develop litigation strategies while collaborating with attorneys and clients. Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement opportunities. Build strong client relationships by delivering responsive, high-quality legal service. Qualifications Active Michigan Bar license. 1+ year of experience practicing as an attorney. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. Experience with civil litigation is helpful. Insurance defense or negligence defense litigation experience is preferred.
