Land Surveyor

We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join the Project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate land and construction surveying activities, site setting-out, measurements, and verification of coordinates and levels in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications. Educational Qualification · Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field. · BSc, BEng, BA, or equivalent qualification preferred. Experience · Minimum 10 years of total professional experience. · Minimum 5 years of relevant/similar experience in land surveying and construction projects. · Experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, building, or development projects is preferred. · Qatar/GCC project experience will be an advantage. Key Responsibilities · Conduct land, topographical, and construction surveys as required for the project. · Carry out accurate setting-out works for structures, roads, utilities, landscaping, and other construction activities. · Establish and verify benchmarks, coordinates, levels, and reference points. · Perform site measurements and verify dimensions against approved drawings. · Operate surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and other relevant instruments. · Prepare and maintain survey records, field notes, calculations, and reports. · Check and verify construction works against approved drawings and specifications. · Identify and report discrepancies between site conditions and design drawings. · Coordinate with civil, architectural, landscape, and other engineering teams. · Provide accurate survey data to support construction and engineering activities. · Ensure all surveying activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. Required Skills · Strong knowledge of land and construction surveying techniques. · Proficiency in using modern surveying instruments and equipment. · Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings. · Good knowledge of coordinates, levels, benchmarks, and setting-out procedures. · Strong attention to detail and accuracy. · Good communication and coordination skills. · Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment.
