Supplier Development Specialist | Klang

Company Background: A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions, specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and high-end manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia, it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. Job Responsibilities: Develop and manage suppliers for MEP equipment, prefabricated components, and engineering services. Manage end-to-end procurement and tender processes, including RFQ, price comparison, bidding, negotiation, and evaluation. Conduct supplier qualification, due diligence, site audits, and performance assessments. Coordinate purchase orders, technical requirements, delivery schedules, and supplier performance. Drive cost optimization, quality improvement, delivery performance, and long-term supplier relationships. Maintain procurement and supplier documentation while continuously improving procurement processes and standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Mechanical, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related fields. Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier development, procurement, or tender management. Experience in MEP, data center, or prefabricated/modular construction is an advantage. Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and cost-control skills. Fluent in English , with the ability to handle business communication and documentation independently.
