Assistant Construction Estimator

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually (DOE) Job description: Key Responsibilities Review blueprints , plans, and project documentation to understand project scope Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials and construction components Prepare accurate cost projections including labor, materials, and subcontractor work Solicit and review proposals from trade partners and suppliers Assemble comprehensive estimate packages and client proposal documents Identify project requirements and potential cost considerations Work closely with management, clients, and subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase Maintain organized estimate documentation and project records Occasionally visit potential project sites to support project evaluation Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of construction estimating experience Experience supporting residential and/or commercial construction projects Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong understanding of construction methods and building processes Excellent mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills Strong communication and coordination abilities Proficiency with computers and construction-related software tools
