Finance Officer

Finance Officer We are currently recruiting a Finance Officer to join the finance team of a well-established organisation in Malta. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in finance, administration, procurement, or logistics who are looking to further develop their career within a structured and supportive environment. The successful candidate will support various finance and accounting functions while contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Responsibilities Review purchase invoices against supplier agreements and contracts. Process and post purchase invoices accurately within the accounting system. Identify and report invoice discrepancies to the relevant departments. Monitor supplier pricing and communicate price changes to Heads of Department. Follow up on outstanding invoices arising from supplier reconciliations. Prepare monthly accruals and maintain job sheet logbooks for management accounts. Process capital expenditure invoices within the Accounting and Fixed Assets systems. Assist with administrative duties, including licence and permit applications. Support monthly stock takes through spot checks. Provide general assistance with finance-related duties as required. Carry out any other duties commensurate with the role. Requirements Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience Previous experience in procurement, logistics, finance, or administration. Experience using accounting software.
