Claims Officer

Job Summary: A Claims Processor is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of claims submitted by clients, policyholders, or claimants. This role involves reviewing claims, verifying documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies, and ensuring that claims are processed efficiently and in compliance with regulations. Review and assess complex claims, medical records, and supporting documents. Process claims, determine approvals or rejections, and assist with settlements and payments. Handle escalated claims, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Coordinate with clients, healthcare providers, insurers, and internal teams. Conduct quality checks, maintain accurate claims records, and prepare reports. Mentor junior staff and support onboarding, audits, and process improvements. Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is an advantage. At least 3–4 years of claims processing experience. Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff.
