Physical Therapist

Job Title: Physical Therapist Location: Grafton, WV Salary Range: $40-$50 per hour Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week with no weekend rotation. Facility: Small facility with 69 beds, specializing in short-term rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans - Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to improve strength, mobility, and range of motion - Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to promote recovery - Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care for patients - Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and treatments - Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation - Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice Qualifications: - Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program - Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in short-term rehabilitation - Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and modalities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care - Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
