Senior Natural Adabas Developer

Senior Natural / ADABAS Developer Location: Johannesburg East (Bruma) Employment type: Permanent Salary: R50,000 – R80,000 per month Experience: Minimum 5 years Own business-critical Natural / ADABAS systems. Be the person the team relies on for the hard problems. We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation looking for a senior Natural / ADABAS developer to maintain, enhance and support its core enterprise applications. You'll work independently from requirements and specifications, take ownership of complex changes and help keep critical systems stable. What You'll Be Doing Senior-level maintenance and support of existing Natural / ADABAS systems Developing new applications across the full SDLC Evaluating requirements, running feasibility studies and detailed systems analysis Technical investigations, impact analysis and solution design Designing, coding, testing, debugging and implementing enhancements Documenting enhancements and modifications to a high standard Application support, incident management and system integration User training where needed, and standby duties as required What We're Looking For 5+ years' software development experience, with extensive Natural / ADABAS Strong BATCH and Online processing experience Proven NaturalONE experience and exposure to EntireX Natural / ADABAS development in a Linux environment Experience across all phases of systems development and implementation Strong technical documentation, investigation and impact-analysis skills Sound understanding of IT governance Qualifications 3-year IT diploma or degree preferred Natural Development and NaturalONE Development certification ITIL and COBIT certification Requirements Valid, unendorsed driver's licence and own vehicle What's on Offer Permanent role at R50,000 – R80,000 per month Ownership of business-critical systems in a stable, established environment Ready to Apply?
