Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to champion on-site safety management systems for heavy civil works in Hong Kong. You will enforce safety policies, conduct site inspections, implement risk management plans, and foster a strong safety culture across the workforce. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain safety management systems in full compliance with local statutory regulations and client requirements. Conduct daily site safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits across complex construction zones. Organize and deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and specialized safety training sessions. Investigate site incidents, draft detailed safety reports, and implement corrective measures. Coordinate with the Labour Department, site management, and client safety teams to ensure seamless compliance. Key Requirements Licensure: Registered Safety Officer (RSO) approved by the Hong Kong Labour Department (essential). Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-registration construction site safety experience on civil engineering sites.
