To support our growth, we are looking for a : ENERGY STORAGE - BUSINESS DEVELOPER (W/M) Long term contract Madrid (Spain) Your main tasks Develop utility-scale battery storage projects until Ready-to-Build milestone is achieved, including the management of the collaboration with external development entities (local authorities, advisors, etc..) and ensure follow-up of the project for the stakeholders like grid operators, local authorities, landowners and the wider public as part of the project development process Manage the development of the projects in the frame of codevelopment agreements with the local partners Support the rest of the Development team in the analysis of development battery and other storage solutions that can be integrated with the existing renewables asset portfolio. Evaluate the economic and technical aspects of BESS projects, supporting Origination team in the analysis of greenfield, co-development and M&A opportunities. Support internal areas to develop the business and operating models and business cases together with the local business development teams and the central trading and finance functions Contribute to the estimation of revenue stacks for storage project in Spain with understanding on regulation and country’s electricity market mechanism (Wholesale markets, ancillary services, etc.) - together with energy Management team support Define and follow up the scope of work of third-party consultants, validating their work. Perform site visits to analyze the technical feasibility of the pipeline being supported from technical team. Coordinate between the local business team and BESS technical team based in France and other local engineering offices Expected skills Educational Background : You hold a Master’s degree in energy/electrical Engineering or Environmental Science. Professional Experience: You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing renewable energy projects or at least 2 years specifically in BESS project development in Spain. A significant experience in project co-development, energy management in retail business or relevant sectors would be appreciated. Energy Markets Insight: Experience in energy markets and BESS revenue streams would be a major advantage. Technical Proficiency: You are highly skilled with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint), and have experience with software like Google Earth, QGIS, or equivalent GIS software.
