About the position
David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a Portuguese speaking Appearance Manager for their Gaming studios in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Position: Appearance Manager Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil Employment type: Full-time Remuneration: Base salary ABOUT THE ROLE. As an Appearance Manager, you will lead the Appearance Department, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and team performance across assigned studios. You will drive operational improvements, manage resources, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee daily operations of the Appearance Department, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services and alignment with company standards Monitor team performance, partnering with Team Leaders to implement improvement actions, including training and performance management initiatives Review and validate quality control reports, ensuring accuracy before submission to suppliers or internal departments Manage stock levels and consumption, proactively identifying issues and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs Prepare and enhance reporting accuracy, ensuring insights meet management needs and support decision-making Communicate regularly with senior stakeholders on stock status, challenges, and proposed solutions Drive process optimization through digitalization and workflow improvements across the department Lead and implement projects focused on improving employee appearance and operational performance Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth studio operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Identify and engage suppliers, supporting procurement processes and maintaining service quality standards. REQUIREMENTS: Native or fluent in Portuguese (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication. As well as proficiency in English (at least C1) Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar or managerial role Proven experience in team management, performance monitoring, and process improvement initiatives Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Experience in stock management, reporting, and workflow optimization Ability to collaborate across departments in a corporate environment Experience within the beauty or fashion industry is a plus.
