About the position
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Cloud Developer to join a forward-thinking team building secure, scalable, and well-designed solutions in public cloud. If you love solving complex problems, automating infrastructure, and delivering business value efficiently, this role is for you. About the Role As a Cloud Developer, you will be part of a cross-functional team working closely with product, platform, and security teams. You’ll design, implement, and operate cloud-native applications and services in AWS or Azure, ensuring reliability, security, and observability. This is more than a traditional developer role - you’ll contribute to automation, CI/CD, cloud-native best practices, and help define scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective architectures. What You’ll Do Design and develop microservices, APIs, and event-driven flows in AWS or Azure. Automate infrastructure with Terraform/Bicep and deploy via CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Operate and optimize containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and/or serverless (Lambda/Functions). Implement security-as-code: identity/RBAC, secrets/keys, network and policy guardrails. Set up observability (logs/metrics/traces), SLOs, and optimize performance and cost (FinOps). Work with testable pipelines (contract/integration tests), blue/green or canary releases, and feature flags. What We’re Looking For 5+ years as a developer, with at least 3 years in public cloud (AWS or Azure). Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Java, Go, or Python. Experience with REST/gRPC and asynchronous patterns (queues/events). Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, containers, and cloud data services. Understanding of non-functional requirements (security, performance, availability, cost) and “operate what you build” mindset. Nice to Have Kubernetes in production (Helm/Operators), service mesh, API gateway. Data/AI pipelines (Spark, Databricks, Kinesis, Event Hubs) and MLOps. Edge/disconnected patterns, IoT/OT integration. Experience in regulated environments (ISO/NIST) and policy/compliance automation. Observability stack (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana). About YORA We’re a forward-thinking team redefining how engineers work. By leaving behind traditional hierarchies, we’ve created an environment where skilled professionals are empowered to take ownership, influence strategic decisions, and build solutions that truly last. Here, your expertise drives real impact, and your curiosity is celebrated.Place of work
