Finance Regulatory Reporting Officer

A renowned financial services group specializing in investments, payment and fund administration globally, is looking for a Finance Regulatory Reporting Officer to join their team. The right person for this role will be an astute communicator, priding themselves on their professional attitude and attire at all times. This is an office-based role with a salary offered up to €60K . Role & Responsibilities Handle the preparation, review, and submission of financial reports Keep abreast of changes in regulations and figure out how they impact reporting tasks Set up and maintain clear processes Work with other teams to collect, verify, and align financial data for reporting Provide clear guidance and explanations on reporting rules to team members and other departments Serve as the main contact for regulators and external auditors Support daily finance operations Required Education, Skills & Experience Tertiary level qualification in accounting, finance, or a related Proven experience handling end-to-end regulatory reporting in a financial institution, investment firm, or bank - non-negotiable Fluency in English both written and spoken Fluency in Maltese is preferred Experience preparing, reviewing, and submitting regulatory reports directly to regulators Strong understanding of regulatory reporting rules and obligations for financial institutions Experience in financial reporting or a similar role is preferred Good analytical and problem-solving skills, including project management skills Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines Organised, proactive, and able to work on own initiative About this role Salary of up to €60k KPI-related performance bonus Health Insurance Gym allowance Excellent professional development and career prospects Internal and external training Study leave and financial study support Inclusive workplace with a focus on your well-being Note: Please note that due to the urgency of the role we can only consider candidates who hold an EU passport Please apply with your detailed CV in English.
