Senior ADAS / Autonomous Driving Engineer – US Relocation

About the position

Open to Swedish citizens willing to relocate to the US (San Francisco Bay Area), or candidates already based in or near San Francisco. We’re looking for a passionate and highly skilled ADAS / Autonomous Driving Engineer to join a forward-thinking automotive team shaping the future of mobility. If you have hands-on experience with ML, embedded systems, and sensor fusion in an automotive context, this role is for you. About the Role As a Senior ADAS Engineer, you will design, develop, and validate advanced driver assistance and autonomous vehicle systems. You’ll work on perception, sensor fusion, and control algorithms, collaborating closely with software, control, and vehicle teams to deliver safe and robust autonomous driving capabilities. What You’ll Do Develop and implement sensor fusion algorithms integrating camera, LiDAR, and radar data Design and validate ML-based perception and object detection systems Work on embedded systems programming for real-time vehicle applications (C/C++) Simulate and validate ADAS features using MATLAB/Simulink, ROS, and automotive simulators Collaborate with vehicle dynamics and control teams to integrate perception and control systems Perform testing and validation on real vehicles and simulation platforms Contribute to system-level architecture and technical decision-making What We’re Looking For 5–10+ years of experience in ADAS, autonomous driving, or advanced vehicle control systems Strong expertise in sensor fusion, computer vision, and ML for automotive applications Hands-on experience in embedded software development (C/C++) Proficiency with MATLAB / Simulink, ROS, or automotive simulation tools Experience in automotive OEM or Tier 1 environments Solid understanding of vehicle dynamics and control integration is a plus Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus) Nice to Have Experience with autonomous driving validation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of ADAS functional safety standards (ISO 26262) Location & Relocation Open to Swedish citizens willing to relocate to the US (San Francisco Bay Area).
