FP&A Analyst (Temp)

Job Title: FP&A Analyst (Contract Role) Location: Dubai Contract Duration: 3–4 months initially (extendable) About the Client Our client is part of a well-established and diversified business group in the UAE, with a strong presence across multiple sectors including engineering, technology, and integrated services. Role Overview We are looking for a qualified and commercially driven FP&A professional to support financial planning, reporting, and project-based forecasting within a dynamic business environment. This role will have a strong focus on financial analysis linked to service contracts (materials & labor) and project performance , particularly within the technology sector . Key Responsibilities Manage and support month-end closing activities, including preparation of management accounts Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules on a monthly basis Develop project-level backlog forecasts and translate them into monthly P&L projections Compare forecasts against FY26 budgets, identifying gaps and providing actionable insights Analyze and forecast cost overruns and change order requests in coordination with business stakeholders Support ongoing FP&A activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives Partner with finance and operational teams to enhance financial visibility and support decision-making Requirements 5–10 years of experience in FP&A or finance roles Qualified accountant (CA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent) Strong understanding of service contracts (materials & labour) Experience working on technology sector projects is highly preferred Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (GL, AP, AR modules) – mandatory Exposure to Oracle Projects module is highly desirable Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills Key Competencies Strong financial modelling and forecasting capabilities Ability to translate operational data into meaningful financial insights High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment Important Notes Candidates must be available to join immediately Candidates should be on their own visa Please ensure the visa details section in the application form is filled accurately
