Senior Mechanical Estimation Engineer - Fluent English

About the position

Job Description We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and performing detailed takeoffs for HVAC (duct & piping) and plumbing systems. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading Mechanical Contractor in Chicago, USA, while being based in our Cairo office. Key Responsibilities Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC (duct & pipe) and plumbing systems, including all accessories. Prepare accurate cost estimates using company-provided software. Analyze mechanical drawings and project specifications. Ensure proper material selection, connections, and system components. Utilize Excel (advanced formulas) for calculations and reporting. Support tendering and pre-construction activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3+ Years of Experience in mechanical estimation (HVAC & plumbing) . Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Experience with takeoff/estimation software. Strong Excel skills.
