Labor And Employment Attorney Novate Legal Search Los Angeles Metropolitan Area (Hybrid)SaveApply Experience Level 3-5 years preferred; open to candidates with up to 10 years of experience Strong civil litigation backgrounds considered Must have recent defense-side experience Responsibilities Employment defense Complex single-plaintiff matters involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation General counseling Opportunity to work with public entities: schools, universities, cities, nonprofits (95% public entity defense) Seeking someone collaborative, reliable, and defense-oriented Strong writing skills, good judgment, and ability to manage their own caseload (motions, depos, trial prep) Training provided on billing practices Close mentorship and support from a senior employment attorney (Ash) Encouraged to develop business Compensation & Benefits Salary: $150K-$200K depending on experience Bonus: Additional compensation for business development/originations when settled Benefits: PPO health insurance, dental, vision, 401(k) with profit sharing and discretionary match details to be provided
