About the position

Job Title: Primary Care General Practitioner Contract: Part-time and full-time hours available (minimum 2 days per week) - must be available to work Mondays Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Location: New Broad Street and other sites within Greater London As a Primary Care General Practitioner with Medigold, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based medical care to our patients across our Greater London sites. You will be responsible for managing GP consultations, health screenings, and maintaining professional standards in communication and record keeping, ensuring every patient receives safe and effective care. In this role, you will actively contribute to clinical governance, staying up to date with medical developments, participating in audits, appraisals, and continuing professional development, and ensuring compliance with CQC and company standards. You will also support the induction, mentoring, and development of colleagues, helping to foster a collaborative and professional clinical environment. Specific Responsibilities Patient Treatment and Care Maintains a high standard of evidence based medical practice for GP consultations and health screening Maintains high standards of communication with patients Maintains high standards for professional record keeping within the clinical team Learning, Personal Development and Appraisal Keeps up to date with all medical developments and evidence based practice Attends regular practice meetings and clinical educational meetings (both internal and external) Undertakes audit, an annual appraisal, maintains Revalidation & Licence to Practise with GMC CQC and Medigold policies Ensures compliance with CQC requirements in the practice Ensures compliance with company procedures and supporting/developing doctors and nurses where needed to ensure that standards are met or exceeded Prepares/reviews Primary Care Policies and procedures and any other policies when required in line with CQC requirements Induction and Mentoring Assists when required with the induction and supervision of nurses and doctors and their training and development Client Relationships Contributes to the establishment and maintenance of client Business Development Supports sales and marketing function when required Requirements for this role MRCGP or equivalent Experience delivering regular in-person GP sessions GMC registered with Licence to Practice Excellent communication skills Our Company Benefits 31 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, increasing with length of service Pension Scheme Paid Professional Memberships and Indemnity Insurance Access to Company benefits and discount portal Access to a Health Cash Plan Free eyecare vouchers Cycle to work scheme Access to confidential Employee Assistance programme Interactive mental health and wellbeing app Interested in this role but want to find out more first?
