With a team of around 45 employees, our Service Center based in Porto is developing a dynamic nearshore business, offering the French and European markets an environment of excellence and high potential. Business Analyst This is your mission Are you passionate about financial data, regulatory reporting, and high‑impact IT projects? Then this position is for you. As a Business Analyst , you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing a shared data ecosystem that consolidates Accounting and Risk data, driving reporting excellence across multiple domains. Build side: Meet stakeholders, identify needs, and translate them into clear User Stories Propose functional and technical solutions and support end‑user validation Contribute to regulatory and financial reporting projects (IFRS9, FINREP, Basel IV, Credit & Equity Risk, Operational Risk, etc.) Participate in the design and continuous improvement of data ingestion and transformation processes Document functional processes, procedures, and solutions according to internal standards Collaborate closely with teams in Paris, Lisbon and Porto in an agile setup Run side: Monitor monthly and quarterly closing treatments and proactively follow up on alerts Investigate incidents, propose short‑term workarounds, and contribute to long‑term fixes Provide support to internal users during closing periods Perform production monitoring and ensure the stability of Capital/IFRS9 reporting chains Participate in on‑call duty when needed (weekends, nights) This is your background You have 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in demanding financial or reporting environments. You enjoy data analysis, understanding end‑to‑end processes, and working with both IT and business teams. You thrive where technology, regulatory constraints, and collaboration come together. This is your expertise: Strong mastery of SQL Knowledge of Python Solid Excel skills Good overall IT understanding and ability to work with data environments Knowledge of Banking / Finance , particularly in Risk or Reporting This is how you work as part of a team: Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving skills Ability to work under pressure, especially during closing periods Reactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Team‑oriented, autonomous, and proactive in improving processes Clear communication and stakeholder‑friendly approach Language Skills : English – Mandatory French – Nice to have This is our commitment At Consort Group, you are an expert who we support so that every assignment becomes a step that counts.
