Job Description: Specialized Cleaning & FiltaFry Technician (SpaceX) Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour Location: Kennedy Space Center (SpaceX), FL Schedule: Overnight | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 6 Days a Week Status: Full-Time Filta is seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Specialized Cleaning & FiltaFry Technician to join our dedicated team at the Kennedy Space Center , specifically serving SpaceX operations. This is a high-stakes, mission-critical environment that requires a professional with a strong work ethic and the ability to maintain rigorous safety and sanitation standards. The Role: In this position, you will be responsible for the dual execution of our flagship environmental services. You will ensure that the commercial kitchen facilities at SpaceX are operating at peak efficiency and cleanliness during the overnight shift. FiltaFry Service: You will perform our signature micro-filtration process to extend the life of cooking oil and provide comprehensive deep fryer management and cleaning. FiltaClean Service: You will execute specialized deep-cleaning and steam-cleaning tasks to maintain kitchen hygiene, ensuring all equipment and surfaces meet strict compliance and safety codes. Key Responsibilities: Advanced Sanitation: Perform thorough deep-cleaning of commercial kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, and vents, using Filta's specialized tools and techniques. Oil Management: Safely operate filtration machinery to purify cooking oil and manage the disposal or recycling of waste oil according to environmental protocols. Operational Excellence: Adhere to the strict security and safety protocols required for working on-site at the Kennedy Space Center. Consistency: Maintain a rigorous 6-day-a-week overnight schedule to ensure the facility is "inspection-ready" for the morning shift. Documentation: Accurately record service data and equipment status to provide management with daily updates on site conditions. Ideal Candidate Attributes: Stamina & Reliability: You must be comfortable with physically demanding work and a consistent 10 PM – 6 AM schedule. Mechanical Aptitude: Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or basic machinery troubleshooting is a major plus. Professionalism: You understand the importance of working in a high-security environment like SpaceX and represent the Filta brand with integrity. Attention to Detail: You take pride in "missed nothing" cleaning and ensuring every piece of equipment is sanitized to the highest standard. Requirements: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check for Kennedy Space Center site access. Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
