About the position

Senior Accountant- Japanese Bilingual Required Location: Gardena, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office) Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 (DOE) We are a Japanese accounting firm seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of experience who are looking to grow their career in a collaborative and flexible work environment. Responsibilities Perform accounting services for clients, including financial reporting and analysis Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules Handle general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies Communicate with clients regarding financial matters and reporting Collaborate with internal team members and support junior staff as needed Qualifications 3–5 years of accounting experience (audit, public accounting, consulting, or in-house accounting) Experience in public accounting or audit is preferred Experience in a Big 4 or similar public accounting firm is highly preferred CPA license is not required; however, CPA candidates or those with relevant coursework are highly preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Language Requirement Japanese-English bilingual required Native-level Japanese preferred Work Environment Hybrid work schedule (2–3 days in office) Team-oriented and supportive work environment Opportunity for long-term career development Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) Paid Sick Leave Paid Time Off Life Insurance Please contact Satomi honda for this position: (213) 448-7822 satomi.h@huminaresource.com
