Role Overview The Post-Tension Stressing Technician is responsible for safely stressing and cutting post-tension tendons on active construction sites throughout the Dallas area. This is a hands-on field position requiring strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment. Technicians travel locally to job sites using a company-provided vehicle and are responsible for performing tendon stressing operations in accordance with engineering specifications and work-order directives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring structural integrity and project completion timelines are met. Core Responsibilities Stress and cut post-tension tendons according to engineered specifications and project requirements. Perform pre-use inspections and routine maintenance on hydraulic stressing equipment and tools. Follow strict safety protocols during high-tension operations. Maintain accurate work documentation and follow work-order directives. Collaborate with general contractors, field crews, and internal team members to ensure efficient project execution. Troubleshoot equipment and resolve minor field issues as needed. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites. Travel locally to construction sites throughout the Dallas area. Required Background Experience or knowledge in construction practices, preferably concrete or post-tension systems. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in varying weather conditions. Strong understanding of job-site safety standards. Valid drivers license with clean driving record. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required. Prior post-tension stressing experience preferred but not required.
