Litigation Associate

About the position

We are seeking a motivated and talented Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic qualifications and a strong interest in civil liability defense, including products, premises, transportation, and/or construction defense litigation. Responsibilities: Conduct legal research and analysis Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations Work closely with partners and senior associates on case strategy and preparation Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel Manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Admitted to the California state bar 1-3 years of experience in general civil liability, construction defect, and/or insurance defense Strong research and writing skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Billable hour requirement of 1900 per year Potential salary range for 1-3 year attorney is $100,000-$130,000 Bonus plan based on hours billed Comprehensive benefit package, which includes medical, dental, vision, life, and 401(k)
